Dear Rat Race Rebellion Community,

Thank you to everyone who took the time to complete our recent community survey. We read every response, and truly appreciate how thoughtful and candid you were.

Here’s what we learned:

What matters most to you

• The most important thing we provide is trusted, vetted job leads.
• A strong majority of you shared that you feel confident in the opportunities we post.
• The Daily Newsletter is the primary way many of you stay updated on new job leads and keep up with what’s newly posted.
• Many of you also told us that accessible roles continue to be especially important in your search.

Where you’re struggling

• The biggest challenge isn’t finding job opportunities — it’s getting responses after applying.
• Many of you feel overwhelmed by resumes, ATS systems, and the application process.
• You asked for improvements to search and filtering, especially for part-time and flexible roles.
• Several of you flagged that parts of the site experience (including ads) can feel distracting or confusing.

What we’re prioritizing next

Based on your feedback, our near-term focus is on: 

1. Improving site usability and reducing friction where it gets in the way.
2. Making it faster to find the right roles (starting with part-time and flexible needs).
3. Continuing to balance accessible opportunities with expanded roles across experience levels, so we can better serve job seekers at different stages.
4. Sharing more practical guidance to help you apply smarter and improve response rates (while recognizing we’re not the hiring company and can’t control employer timelines or decisions).

We’ll continue to share updates as these improvements roll out. We also plan to run this survey twice a year, so we can keep improving based on what you actually need.
