Happy Monday! 👋💐
We hope you had a good weekend. Here in Charleston, big squalls rolled through. Good for the plants and wildlife and water supply, but the thunder is hard on my dogs.
On the WFH jobs front, in you'd like to help people who are in
addiction recovery, this Medical Assistant job (scroll down) starts at $25/hr. The hirer is a telehealth company. No college requirement mentioned, but people who are in addiction recovery are encouraged to apply. (Not a requirement.) This may be primarily customer-support chat, with members, though email
and phone are also mentioned. You'd also be helping resolve prescription issues. Broad benefits included.
For side cash, this company is looking for people to test food, personal care products, and household products. (Scroll down.) Minimum
pay $35 per session. Not WFH; travel to company sites in GA, OH, MI, IL, CA, AZ, PA, NJ, NV, or CT. If you're in Canada, six sites are located there.
On the WFH scam side, beware a text from "Ava." She claims to work for a construction company. Another very brief offer -- $300 for 90 mins./day, job not described. She asks for a yes or no reply, which will show there's a "fish
on the line." Then they can step up the scam, or send others. Speaking of stepping up, AI seems to be generating more and more of these texts. Delete and stay safe!
If you missed it last Friday, we launched a new series of interviews with hiring companies. No fluff, just tips from the people making the hiring decisions. The first is with ACD Direct, who hires
customer service agents. (They're hiring now.) Join Chris as she interviews Lisa Byrd, of their Talent Acquisition Team.
