We hope you have a good weekend on the horizon. Here, I've been sleepless and watching so many baby elephant vids at 3AM that I feel like I'm back in Thailand. (Went to high school there.🥳)

We launched a new series of interviews with hiring companies. No fluff, just tips from the people making the hiring decisions. The first is with ACD Direct, a well-known hirer of customer service agents. They're hiring now. Join Chris as she interviews Lisa Byrd, of their Talent Acquisition Team.    

On the WFH scam front, beware a text from "Emily." She claims to work for an app development company. It's a simple offer of $500/hr. for a remote job they don't describe. They also skip the usual WhatsApp phone number, and ask for a yes or no reply. This of course will confirm my interest, and they can step up the con game. Delete, and stay safe!

If you're looking for legitimate passive income/side cash options, this one from Kantar Media pays $300+/yr. plus points for merchandise, travel, and entertainment. Use an app and a browser plug-in to track TV and streaming programming. “Extra rewards just for signing up…”

If you're a sports fan, or know one, this might suit. It's not a sales job, but you'll be helping people who are using the site to sell their unwanted tickets to sports events. Pay starts at $20/hr. The job comes with $1,200/mo. in credits for any event. Benefits included, no college requirement. Hiring from most states.  

Also Legitimate - Get Extra Cash for Surveys - LEO: Surveys pay $1-$35 per reviews. Receive cash or -- if  you prefer -- gift cards for Amazon, Walmart, and other major brands. There are also weekly giveaways of cash and gift cards.

SCAM! "$330,000 in Fake Cashier's Checks Are Sitting on My Desk!" ~ Chris

Ready to go down the rabbit hole?

This scammer was looking for someone to "process payroll checks" from home, so naturally I applied, and I GOT THE JOB!

He thought I believed him. So he sent me $330,000+ in fake cashier's checks. These were supposed to be mailed to OTHER VICTIMS who thought they were going to use the money for their phony mystery shopping job.
