On other fronts, if you have a background in customer service and medical billing or a similar healthcare role, this Patient Advocate job (scroll down) starts at $19+/hr. No college requirement or state hiring restrictions listed. Benefits provided.

Elsewhere, Optum is looking for Monday-Friday customer service help. Pay starts at just under $17/hr. They appear to be hiring nationwide.
