We hope you had a wonderful weekend! Here in Charleston, the SC state bird (the mosquito) has fallen on hard times, as the tourists leave the beaches and head back up I-95. Now it's our turn to tour, and be leaf peepers in New England!

On the jobs front, beware a "TikTok job" scam making the rounds. I just got a text purporting to be from TikTok, offering me a job as a "creative talent." (My toupee isn't ready for that.) Only one hour a day, and the pay is $180,000/yr. The "TikTok" contact number is a WhatsApp account.

Lots of red flags in the text, of course. High pay for few hours, the WhatsApp "corporate" contact number... And perhaps the biggest of all, I've never contacted TikTok for anything, let alone a job... Safe searching!
