Unclaimed money may be waiting for you in state Treasurers' Offices. This is often the topic of scams, but it's actually true. Each state has an "unclaimed property" office that keeps track of money owed from security deposits, insurance benefits, wages, old bank accounts, contents of safe deposit boxes, stock dividends, and other sources. funds owed her from an old account at AT&T and refunds from Amazon. She lays
