Happy Rebellious Hump Day

In today's update, for a bit of context, w@h jobs are filling very quickly these days. The causes are many, including big layoffs in large companies, inflation, lengthening commutes, and others. Officially, we may not be in a recession, but it often feels like it... 

Given these trends, in your job hunt don't forget to (1) apply as soon as you see something you like (repeat this; don't pin your hopes on one job application), (2) network like heck, and (3) keep strengthening your resume with new skills. 

For some examples of free courses, see sites like edX. If you're eligible for SNAP (the Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program), you may qualify for free or discounted skills training and other support. For more on that, click here.     

On the hiring side, these w@h "Tier Two" customer service openings (scroll down) start at $19/hr. No state hiring exclusions are cited, and there's no college requirement. That hourly rate is pretty high compared to what we usually see, so apply or share fast if you're interested.
